The Broch ended their Highland League campaign on a high with 2 home wins against Brora Rangers and Strathspey Thistle respectively. This secured a third place finish just 3 points behind newly crowned champions Buckie Thistle and runners up Brechin City.


The Broch kept up their brilliant second half to the season with a 5-1 win away to Strathspey Thistle with goals coming from a Scott Barbour brace, Aidan Sopel, Logan Watt and a Kieran Simpson penalty.


The Broch blew the title race wide open with a fantastic 4-2 win at home to league league leaders Brechin City. The home side lead 3-1 at the break with a Ryan Sargent goal followed by a penalty from Kieran Simpson and Jamie Beagrie. The away side pulled a goal back before a second penalty from Kieran Simpson made it 4-2. The away side then got a penalty of their own, but a superb save from Joe Barbour kept the scores at 4-2 and thats how it ended.


The Broch agonisingly lost the Highland League final to Brora Rangers 5-4 in a nerve shredding penalty shootout.
