The Burry Scurry

The Burry Scurry was hatched on 3rd January 1998 on Holburn Street in Aberdeen. This was the first public appearance of the bird and he was greeted on the supporters bus with loud cheers. The chick was hatched into the household of Peter Forsyth, who still looks after the Scurry. Fraserburgh were playing against Stranraer in the third round of the Scottish cup that day after successfully defeating Clyde in the previous round 1 - 0 at the Bellslea on 12th December 1997.
