Fraserburgh F.C. defeated Dundee F.C. in the Scottish Cup at the Bellslea in 1959. The Dundee team was was full of Scottish International players, and they went on to win the Scottish First Division two years later
To mark the 50th anniversary of the famous Scottish Cup Giant killing day Fraserburgh F.C. invited the three surviving players to the Bellslea for hospitality and then presented each of them with a plaque to commemorate one of the biggest giant killing days in Scottish Cup history
Goalkeeper Danny Mowat, Billi Bradford and George (Bunny) McCall thoroughly enjoyed their day at the Bellslea with members of their families and some family members of the rest of the team
